MHS Athletes bring home 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze from first race
Sunday January 13th was the start of the Diana Golden race season for the Maine Handicapped Skiing race team. The White Mountain Adaptive Program at Loon hosted the GS race.
In the Mills Cup Adam Tomaszewski finished 2nd (45.47) in the open men, and Hillary Cantwell finished 2nd (1.04.77) as well for the open women.
Continuing on with the Diana Golden cup, Alex Tomaszewski finished first in the male junior category with a time of 44.50. Troy Morgan took home gold in the male open division, and in the masters Tony Lawless finished first with a time of 44.32.
On the women's side Abiggail Latulippe and Lindsay Ball finished 2nd and 3rd in the junior category with a time of 1.19.78 and 1.33.35 respectively. Melissa Mulvey finished with a time of 1.17.40 giving her a third place finish in the female open category.
All of the racers did a fabulous job!
The next race for the team will be January 26th, hosted by MHS at Sunday River.
